love doesn’t grow, but our path will;

i found myself drowning in a sea of orchids
is it okay if we hang on to every rope you made for us?
or should i dive deeper, leaving the sandcastle and all those flags made from dry leaves?
because i knew, someday, i need to make my own castle
neither in the sea, nor made from clouds, where you can feel every time you’re on a flight, coming to see me for holiday season

i never asked for us to be lovers
why would i?

i believe that we’ve been destined to stand by each other, smiling through the wind, feeling every inch of our skin
with a limited time
which no one knows if it’s worth the wait or better in the past

i believe that we, each particle, are some of the prettiest parts of my life
But i do believe, if someday you’re gone, or i should leave you,
the castle we made will grow stronger, like how a witch turned it into a rock on the beach

and as our path grow, we never grow wrong with others

also, i never wanted to say this, but
the purest love is when we accept every unintentional thing that’s made for us sooner or later

and by this, we can appreciate us perfectly, not much, not even less
